This book is the most helpful, meaningful book on relationships ever written, and I've read dozens of them. You will want everyone you love to read this book, because it creates a template for happy healthy relationships, and it's written by two incredibly happily married people, unlike other relationship books. I really liked the chapter on finding the love mate of your dreams. I haven't found him yet, but when I do he's going to have to read this book! The best how-to relationship guide out there with loads of spirituality and practical insights to either repair the relationship you are in, or help you realize that you deserve to be loved far greater than you ever before imagined. Plus this book is written in a user friendly way, just open it anywhere and the jewels spill out. I can't recommend this book enough. And at this price think of all the money you will save on therapy!

If you are not experiencing the love you deserve, you should read this book with your love partner and DO the 10 Keys together. This one belongs in your relationship library.

Excellent! Superb, inspired!

The Pecks are chronicling a deeply private personal journey that required humility, generosity and grace. They are showing how the willingness to change brings greater good and that it is the quality of our thinking and choices that determines the outcome. With divine Love as the appropriate yardstick, they show us the full breadth of OUR divine heritage, which includes PERFECT Love, complete Love, not a part of Love. Their approach is introspective and metaphysical.

This approach will therefore be at odds with conventional psychological reasoning. The difference between New Age concepts of metaphysics and the Pecks is that theirs is based in their understanding of God as our Cause and Source vs. a more impersonal universal sense of Truth.

I recommend this book to everyone with eyes to see and ears to hear. It will feed the hungry heart. And teach the reader the truth of their 'conscious worth'.

wonderful exploration

Thank you for taking the time to write this book on how to improve your love skills. These skills are not taught in school and if some of us get it at home we are lucky. I have shared "The Love You Deserve" with several of my girlfriends who have found it helpful to share with their own sons and daughters. The fact that your book emphasizes how to discern the quality of love we are expressing, also helps us detect what kind of love we are receiving. I am making an honest effort to listen better and to be honest and live my live with integrity and joy!

This book has something for everyone! I went from dating complete losers to finding a wonderful man who tells me he loves me everyday, who isn't threatened by my independence, and who I am ecstatic to be with! The truth is that I never imagined it...this book will teach you how to assert your rights...and find the "perfect" love that we all deserve. I would recommend this book to everyone, man or woman, whether or not they are in a relationship.

The Love You Deserve will change your life, guaranteed. The author himself lives a very loving life, in short, he IS the message of this book, unlike so many relationship books where the author is not practicing what is being preached. He is speaking from experience of giving and receiving love after having suffered through a terrible first marriage. If you thought unconditional love was a myth, think again. Buy this book if you want happy relationships. You will be very impressed with how easy it can be.
 

Great guide to truly loving vs intellectualized exercises

Reading this book illuminated what it means to truly love--without all the processes involved in psycho-analysis. Love is here, love is simple, and Scott shows us. The ideas are not new. He's reminding us, simply, that we have it now. Isn't that great! I interviewed six individuals from different walks of life at different stages of relationships for a profile/review of this book for a monthly publication. Everyone got at least one nugget from the book and since the interviews several months ago, all have advanced in relationships & status of relationships because of reading Scott's book. He's done a great service by sharing what has worked for him & how it can be proved for anyone. Looking forward to the next book from this loving and thought-provoking author.
 

Forget all the rest...this is it!

This uplifting and practical book has changed my whole view of how to love my husband and cherish my own dreams for the "perfect marriage." I especially enjoyed the chapter on "Kindness + Honesty," which really hit me where it counts, and has even helped me to deal with personnel challenges at the office. I can't wait to read it again, chapter by chapter, together with my husband!

My wife and I read the Pecks book with great enthusiasm. It seemed to put into words the feelings we have both had for each other for the 34 years we have been married. We acquired ten copies of the book for some of our friends and even gave one to the local library. I understand it is being checked out and read very often. More people need to read this wonderful work.

Understanding the human and divine coincidence of love

As I continue to read the pages... it's exciting to read every single page because it introduces a revolutionary way of thinking about love. The book is spiritual yet practical. Helping us understand that although it is our divine right to be loved we can experience it at the human level. I always thought perfect love was meant only for the gods. But now I understand that there is a divine and human coincidence in experiencing perfect love! My consciousness is open to more love to touch all facets of my life! The Love You Deserve is fabulous. I found that it is a book for all stages of a relationship, and even for those who are not in a relationship. It has helped open up the lines of communication in my relationship not only with my fiancé, but with my friends and family. I felt one of the best thing I learned from this book is that you need to ask for what you need in a relationship - and this book teaches you how to ask in a way that is very receptive. It also teaches you how to open yourself up so your partner is comfortable in asking for what they need from you. This book comes highly recommended from me for what ever stage you are in a relationship, or again, even if you are not in one it is a wonderful way to help shape the next relationship you will encounter - and I am sure if you have read this book you will have a relationship at a much "higher" level. This book was written for me! I have never been married and I am currently considering it. I am already on my second reading of "The Love You Deserve". Happily, my boyfriend and I are utilizing it together this time as we work through the quizzes.

Honestly, before reading it I thought "perfect" love was unrealistic and unachievable. This book has given me hope. I now know I don't have to "settle" . With the step-by-step guidance in achieving these standards of perfect love, I feel there is no chance that I'll make a mistake that could end in divorce. Thanks!
