In
order to break a brick with your bare hand, some martial arts teach
students to visualize, in advance, the successful conclusion – their
hand on the other side of the brick. In
this way, accidents and injuries are minimized with surprising success –
and bricks are broken with bare hands.
Sometimes
I picture healing in this way.
I go to the healing place on the other side of the problem, because
that’s the place where, once healing comes, we will be.
I
was contemplating this one day in my healing work, when a man called me
with a critical business problem where a great deal of money could be
lost. He explained
that many other people were also involved with the potential loss.
Tension was high and fear was thick.
It looked very slim that there would be any good outcome.
In fact, it looked like everyone would incur massive losses.
After
the call ended, I began to spiritualize thought about what he had said. An
odd thing occurred to me. I
thought of how he would be describing the healing to me once he was on the
other side of the problem.
It is much like the example of focusing on the other side of the
brick.
It
occurred to me, “Go to the place of the solution.
Go to the healing place.”
I knew he would be describing the solution to me – from the place
of solution – at some time in the near future.
Each
of us already includes the solution to every problem.
We have divine authority to see ourselves already in this solved
area, even if we don’t know yet how that will appear.
We can be receptive to the idea that the healing is part of our
identity, already present, and that it is our natural right to know and
experience this healing. Perfection is our natural state. Healing is the
remembering of this fact.
In
addition to the business man’s call, I also had a couple more calls that
day of a severe nature. Both
of these were physical. And
in all of these calls I applied the same powerful understanding of the
healing place. Here are some of the affirmations I worked with that day,
based on the spiritual fact that we are already in the healing place, even
before the actual evidence of it:
·
We are in the healing
place – in the healing moment – right now.
·
The healing solution is
already known by divine Mind and is being identified to our thought.
·
Divine Love is causing us
to exchange the problem for the healing.
·
The healing solution is
perfect for each person involved – and it is
communicated perfectly to each person’s consciousness in a way
that is acceptable to them.
·
No power or person can
interfere, interrupt, delay, or prevent this healing.
·
It is our spiritual right
to be in Love’s healing place right now.
That’s
how my affirmations went that day.
The business man called that evening saying that his deal miraculously
came back together. He
described how so many people had come forward unsolicited to hold the deal
together. He could not have personally orchestrated such a wonderful
solution, nor had he even thought of it. It had been done with complete
harmony, void of anger and threats, which earlier in the day, he’d felt
certain would occur.
The
callers who had physical problems were also healed that day. Spiritual
healing represents a shift of consciousness or change of thoughts.
These
wonderful results show the natural inevitability of healing – for all of
us – as we shift into Love’s healing place as Love Healers.
Each
of us, no matter what the problem is (or if the problems are many), can
move right now to the healing place. Our ability to do this is based on
the divine law of all-inclusive Love, universally present. This divine law
has authority to awaken consciousness to a higher understanding which
dissolves problems. We
are never alone in healing.
Love is already waiting for each of us.
Love is the healer. Open yourself to Love’s healing place and
feel Love lifting you to resolution, clarity, comfort, and healing.
