Love's
Morning Meditation

This
morning, Saturday, I awoke and thought of my day. Much to look
forward to -- my healing practice, my friends, some errands, and an
afternoon sail with my husband.
Then
I thought of divine Love.
What
does Love have to do with sailing, driving on the freeway, going to the
grocery afterwards, and whatever I do tonight?
I
thought of how Love is the reality. The rest is what appears as
molecules moving on the freeway and on the ocean and in the grocery store,
with molecules saying “hello” to other molecules. That is the
illusion.
Love’s
reality is telling me what I can expect to experience today. First
of all, I can expect to see myself exactly AS love. Whatever love is
doing, thinking, seeing, and being today is exactly what I am doing,
thinking, seeing, and being today.
And
Love is exactly what everyone else I see is doing as well. We’re
all love. No matter what it appears to be, we are Love’s reality.
Beneath
the superficial surface of what appears to be true about our material
bodies and cars and boats and food and places of dwelling – there is an
underlying presence and reality of Love as the prevailing presence and
prevailing action.
I
must not be fooled to think that reality is material. I must not
drink in the face value of things today. I
have decided to live my day at the highest level of reality and I won’t
be stopped by any illusion which poses as reality.
I
will see Love on the freeway, Love on the ocean, Love in the grocery, Love
in the evening. I will see Love seeing me everywhere. Today I
will love. I will stay in Love reality.
If
I hear bad news I promise to look past the appearance to see Love.
If I think fearful thoughts I promise to look past the suggestion to see
Love. If I think I hear an unkind word or see an unkind act, I
promise Love from me. I also promise Love to me.
I
am surrounded by Love. I AM Love. You are Love. We are
Love.
When
I look back on this day a thousand years from now,
I will see Love’s record of Her own reality of good. And I
will sing and dance in her holy record of me and you.
In
fact, I will do this now.
