"Love Heals:
How to Heal Everything with Love"
A mind that is quiet. This is the purpose of meditation. A still mind offers a fertile soil for rich healing and growth. Can you still your mind?
Most of us enter our days and moments at a great disadvantage. Our minds are preoccupied, unsettled, and wandering. We have frustrations, bottled up anger, fears, worries, and unaddressed needs, with our focus fogged.
What do you think your life would be like if you spent a period of time each morning or evening with your mind quiet – experiencing open mental space without any jumpy nervousness whatsoever? Your daily meditation is the one thing each day that can set the tone for your entire day and positively effect everything.
Meditation is healing.
The mind needs stillness in order to experience maximum intelligence, clarity, and focus. When the mind is racing, it is full of conflicting, unresolved messages. It becomes distracted and it is then difficult to focus on meaningful goals, outlooks, and intuitions for healing solutions. It is hard to wade through daily activities and events with a mind that is stressed, trying to think its clearest and most intelligent thoughts while lacking peace within. Meditation offers a way you can truly advantage yourself in maximum ways. If you are on a spiritual path, meditation is indispensable.
A tiny fraction of your time, spent in meditation, can direct your entire life purpose and destiny, bringing success, opportunities, healings, power, and bliss – connecting you with Love every moment.
Imagine your day filled with inner peace. Your natural calm, joy, intelligence, inner wisdom, and happiness could surface and become available and present. Your awareness would spread to others around you and you would become a healing support to them as well as to yourself.
What’s so great about quietness of the mind? In quietness you can:
-
Receive divine guidance and vision to carry out your highest life path possibility. How important and healing is that?
-
Realize you are never alone. Receive the infinite comfort of this.
-
Come into oneness with all being.
-
Discover what is perfect about this moment. Experience that the only presence is now and the only reality is Love’s present one.
-
Receive a key word, image, or inspiration for the day, keeping you uplifted and guided by Love.
-
Flow in Love.
-
Let go of “monkey mind” – jumpiness, nervousness, futurizing, or dwelling on the past.
-
Clear out mental cobwebs and negativity.
-
Gain clarity and inner peace.
-
Discover what Soul is wanting to birth through you.
In order to experience healing with Love, we need to become more like Love. When we become quiet and still the mind, we can then unite with the thoughts of Love that we so long to feel. They were within you all along. We can then experience our true divine Self and divine reality.
A meditative life is full of pauses. A simple practice of pause is powerful to bring you back into the moment and the presence of quiet stillness. It is important to practice peaceful energy and to remind yourself that you are never alone. Love is always here with you. Pauses create peace and often bring wisdom and healing. Contrary to what you may think, pauses do not slow down productivity. They actually make you more efficient and far happier.
There is no perfect time to meditate. The fact is, the place and time to meditate will only happen if you initiate it. It won’t come to you. The main reason people do not meditate is either that they do not know its value or that they procrastinate doing it. Don’t procrastinate another moment. Even if you start out meditating a minute a day, meditation will shape your happiness and well being more than I could possibly describe. Even little sips of Love are awesome in nourishing healing. Spiritual healing is dependent on meditation. It is pure joy to discover the power of these healing moments. Meditation is a discipline that leads to enormous healing.
Set your intention. As you still your mind, becoming quiet, set your intention on something you wish to heal or what you wish to accomplish. For example, you may want to briefly identify a problem where you can begin listening for a solution. Or you may want to listen for what to have as your intention. Let Love tell you.
You may simply want to use the meditation time to be quiet and still and listen for Love’s messages. Let yourself experience inner peace.
You may feel led to meditate with an intention to support a particular person or people of the world, or the state of the world. These are powerful intentions. It is a wonderful step of healing progress to experience the greater love which comes when you open your heart with compassion towards others’ sufferings and give love generously during your meditation to help them.
You may need this meditation time for yourself in order to reflect on your life. This is where I begin most meditations.
There are many different approaches to meditation, but they all lead to one place – inner peace. And the beauty of meditation is its simplicity. In short, to experience sacred meditation:
Yoga, for example, is excellent for quieting the mind. During or after yoga practice, meditate. Deep breathing is another form of meditation. Sometimes I do simple deep breathing exercises while slowly counting the length of inhales and exhales. This is very meditative because it absolutely keeps you in the present moment, which is great for calming the mind.
Another approach to meditation is the practice of mindfulness. At varying times during the day, pause to be mindful. Thich Nhat Hahn, a noted Buddhist monk and wonderful author, teaches simple mindfulness sequences such as: “Breathing in, I calm myself. Breathing out, I smile.” Slowly repeat this several times. You can practice mindful awareness in the shower, dressing, sitting, eating, and walking.
There are infinite paths to meditation, but they all lead to one place – inner peace. I suggest you explore many ways to meditate. My preference as a healer is to simply still myself and, in quietness, go within. This is where I do some of my best listening to Love in order to be guided to heal. As a healer, I am always seeking to know what Love is telling me. My mind needs to be quiet in order to know this.
A meditative life is a harmonious, powerful, healing life. You are tapping into the infinite reservoir of Love for comfort, calmness, understanding, guidance, and healing. You are living an intimate & healing relationship with divine Love. Welcome to the heart of Love!
