Through intuition, you can connect directly with divine Love, the source of all healing.
What a great comfort to know that whenever we call on divine Love, it is right here – present and available – whether in the middle of the day or night. How then can we use intuition to access Love’s healing presence?
Receptivity and openness are everything in spiritual healing. Consider yourself an empty container and, when you turn to Love for healing, expect Love to fill your container. If your container is tiny, Love will fill it. If your container is large, Love will fill that too. Let your container of receptivity and openness to Love be enormous!
You will receive from Love at the rate of your receptivity and openness to Love. It’s your primary job then to remain open all the time so that Love – and not emptiness and fear – fills you. Your primary fill, of course, will not be with material things. Your rich fill will be from Love’s wisdom, inspiration, and law of wholeness which provide healing.
Problems are healed by following Love’s guidance. But if you are open, listening only 5% of the time and filling your mind with negativity 95% of the time, your container will be mostly filled with what needs to be emptied. Be open and receptive to have your container filled by Love. This will bring forth intuition and healing.
Intuition is at the heart of connecting with healing Love and your Highest Self. All the information and guidance you need is already within you, messaging itself to you. Intuition is your sensing of this, even in small ways.
Intuition improves with practice. As you use it, you will come to understand it more fully and learn of its immense value and reliability. As you rely on it more and more, you will come to trust it in good times as well as times more challenging.
Intuition sometimes comes as a gut feeling, a quiet, inner voice, or a gentle urging. It is the unfailing presence of Love that wants to bless you, to guide you in the right direction, to offer you a healing attitude or vision of understanding, or a simple thought.
Some people have names for their intuition. You can call intuitions divine thoughts, angels, divine guides, messengers, celestial luminaries, or the spiritual senses. No matter what you call your intuition, it is divine Love in some form.
Your intuition is the single most important aspect of your spirituality because it is your conscious connection to Love’s healing guidance and power. The divine Self can be fully known and actualized each day through each of us. You can access this all-important information available to you by learning the following simple process:
Ask Love – open, wait, and listen.
Many times every day, I tune in and ask Love to guide me. Then I open up wide to listen to Love’s message of guidance. My container is bottomless, waiting for Love to fill it. In all my years of spiritual healing, I have found that, with every request, I receive an answer.
The answer may come even while I am opening up to know the guidance needed. Or it may come a day or two later. No matter how long it takes, I remain open all the way through, until I receive the full message.
For guidance that seems to take longer than the immediate moment, it is important to remain open in a waiting mode, listening, and keeping the space open in inquiry.
Perhaps it hasn’t yet registered that you are receiving divine information, but it is happening. When we ask a question, sometimes the answer does not seem to come right away. It may come when you are in the shower, relaxing in bed, driving, or even the next day or two. It may come through hearing someone say something which has nothing to do with what you asked your intuition, but through that experience, you receive an intuition that answers your question for Love. It may come as you silence doubt about your ability to receive divine intuition.
Ask yourself, “To what extent am I fully receptive to divine guidance?” This is the all-important question. Angels are available to you. Are you also available to them?
The benefit comes only when you tune in. It will take effort on your part to learn how to intuit and then how to trust what is coming to you from Love’s healing place. Your quiet patience and efforts to practice intuition will help you more than anything to learn this. Your deep desire to know Love is your teacher on intuition.
The only way of knowing if your desire is in alignment with Love is to know that you intuited it from Love. If you aren’t sure, then ask Love again until it is clear or you sense it is confirmed in your mind or gut feeling. As you listen with full humility and openness, you will know. Welcome to the heart of Love!
